Job Description
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Salary: £27,000-£32,000
Location: Norwich
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must Have Oil and Gas Background
Desirable to BSc / BEng standard in Control, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum standard of HNC or equivalent, in Control, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
KEY TASKS:
A Discipline Engineer will have demonstrated his / her ability to provide sound technical advice to the Projects Group on engineering design issues within their discipline and to generate engineering design documentation, test procedures and specifications, manuals and to specify and procure materials for projects. He / she will ensure that the work carried out fulfils all technical and certification requirements of contracts.
Quality Assurance
To understand and implement the Company Quality Policy, Quality Manual, Company Procedures and standards that apply to Design.
PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
Meet agreed turnaround times for project documents.
Meet the project bid allowances.
Minimise the cost of designs and subsequent build of company products.
Minimise rectification work.
Achieve customer satisfaction.
