Job Description

An excellent position has become available for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) in Norfolk to work at a Large Sized nursing home that cares for elderly residents as well as residents that suffer from Dementia. Whilst working on a shift pattern your responsibilities will be to; Assess residents care needs, provide health supervision and direct nursing care. Report any ill health amongst clients and make requests for GP / Professional visits where necessary.Participate in staff and client meetings as and when required. Carry out regular checks on clients at intervals determined by the home manager. Ensure a clear and concise handover report is given to all relevant staff members at the end of each shift.Ensure all equipment is clean and well maintained.Assess social and health care needs of new clients, and maintain on-going assessment and review of all other clients.Requirements Adaptability within the working environmentSatisfactory completion of a CRB & POVA CheckA RGN qualification with experience of working with elderly care within a nursing and dementia home settingExperience of managing Care Assistants Thorough knowledge and understanding of the CQC standardsPackage £20,000 - £22,000 & Company BenefitsIf your experience matches please forward your CV immediately White Recruitment Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
