This is a trainee position. Must have some experience of working as a junior Chef De-Partie, or Commis Chef with responsibility for own section within a quality establishment.
formal cooking qualification or willingness to study.
To prepare cook and present service menu items, to deputise for the Chef De-Partie in their abcence. Follow guidlines on stock control, portion control, and food wastage. Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness, produce high quality dishes, ensure equipment defects are reported promptly and all other related tasks.
