Experienced Compliance Officer required to work as Auditor (GMP). Need to enjoy UK and International travel. The role is based within the Quality Assurance department of a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing site at Great Yarmouth and the successful candidate will be involved in developing quality systems to assure the quality of goods received by evaluation and audit of external suppliers. The successful candidate will have responsibility for developing the Quality Management System for evaluation and audit of key raw material suppliers to include planning and performing audits.
Maintaining audit schedules, following up corrective actions and preparing SOP’s. Direct programmes to assure the overall quality of goods and services received. Liaison with suppliers to ensure root cause analysis of non-conforming materials and effective implementation of corrective actions. You will also act as principal liaison to ensure effective implementation and management of the Quality Management System for receipt, inspection and sampling of packaging components.
In order to fulfil these roles, the successful candidate will require a BSc, or equivalent, in a scientific discipline and a minimum of 3 years practical experience of GMP auditing, including external/supplier auditing, gained within a pharmaceutical environment. A good working knowledge of GMP and ISO requirements for the pharmaceutical industry is essential and certification as an IRCA lead auditor would be an advantage. Salary is negotiable around £25,000 - £30,000 + benefits.
