| My client, a specialist in the field of Radio and Satellite Communications technologies, are seeking to appoint a Technical Customer Services Manager who will be in charge of 7 technical support engineers. Responsibilities include the day-to-day management and motivation of a team of technical advisors who provide telephone support to external clients You will ensure that your team's technical and product knowledge is kept up to date to enable premium service levels as well as applying your knowledge of technical and contractual issues. You will be pivotal in enhancing their reputation and position in the market through the continuous delivery of first class support services - designing and implementing strategic, cost effective, customer service processes and continuously driving improvements in support service satisfaction KPIs. Other important activities include working closely with the Board to identify, present and push through strategic service initiatives, foster effective customer relationships and improve customer loyalty/retention, manage customer complaints and handle escalated issues to resolve problem areas , enhance current best practice for call handling.
