    Site Engineering Manager is required for our Great Yarmouth pharmaceuticals manufacturer. The Site Engineering Manager role is a newly create position as the site continues to thrive and prosper. The successful candidate will be responsible for all engineering operations on site including the following examples. Control all routine maintenance and project engineering work on site and ensure completion on a timely basis. Ensure engineering procedures and validation protocols are prepared on a timely basis. Ensure Frontline Maintenance System is managed routinely and is up to date. Provide local IT support to site by liaising with IT Department at Headquarters. Ensure Engineering Department works efficiently and effectively to schedules of work in weekly production and project plans..
    From a Quality/ GMP perspective the Site Engineering Manager will be expected to ensure all mechanical and electrical engineering work carried out on site satisfies all current regulatory requirements. Ensure engineering procedures and validation protocols satisfy GMP and regulatory requirements. Be trained and qualified and ensure all Engineering personnel are trained and qualified and adhere to all procedures associated with GMP, hygiene, packing processes, operation of equipment and cleaning of equipment and areas.
    The Site Engineering Manager will also be able to support Health and Safety Committee in the prevention of accidents and adherence to Health and Safety legislation and ensure Engineering Department maintains a safe working environment by working safely.
    Budgetary control will also be important to ensure Engineering expenditure does not exceed expectations.
    This is a role for a proven Manufacturing Engineering Manager ideally with a pharmaceutical production background. You will certainly be used to working with a clean, hygienic environment to exacting standards when dealing with maintenance and related issues. The role is an important senior management role and, as such, has a salary to £40,000 pa attached along with other benefits.
